Did I read that right?

White House spokesman Scott McClellan reiterated on Monday that the administration "doesn't think we need to be providing tax credits to oil companies when the price of oil is above $50 a barrel."

OMG a statement that makes sense! We need more of those!

I really can't think of a time in the last 50-100 years that an oil company has really needed any sort of tax incentives at all... They sell oil. People pay money for the oil products. Isn't that incentive enough for these companies?
