Considering the moon is of course beyond the nice protective layer of atmosphere and that you have to contend with the van Allen radiation belts at some point in the trip I wonder if consumer electronics such as the iPAQ is really to the point they can stand up to cosmic rays (and associated data corruption due to random bit fliping)...or if this is just some crazy marketing scheme.
