Okay so there was some real live discussion involving the development of which I posted earlier. The main conclusion would be that it would be really strange to re-fuel your laptop...and the implications of airline travel are....well we'll let somebody else figure that out. However it was brought up during this discussion though that since fuel cells just need a source of hydrogen it could be assumed they could run off an acid.... such as uric acid. It works for miner lamp batteries...why not your modern day computer? This could conceivebly change our whole notion of public behaviour. Also brought up was which place would be more convient to fuel up... the gas station...or bathroom. Of course the tert reply was: "Laptop, Wireless network, internet and bathroom...bad combination." And consequently people would be a lot less willing to service these computers.... Oh well so much for that idea, fuel cell laptops will just have to run off some sort of alcohol...which has its pros and cons as well ("bummer I drank all my laptop energy")....
